Irene “Nana” Abalos, 89, of Mountain View died Feb. 13 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honokaa, she was a homemaker. Visitation 4-5 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Floyd Edward Bernier-Nachtwey, 72, of Hilo died March 1 at home. Born in Wisconsin, he was a retired graphic designer. Services held. Tomiko Fujitake, 90, of Hilo, formerly of Papaikou, died March 5 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pepeekeo, she was a homemaker and member of Family Christian Center. Modesto “Mo” Labisores Jr., 72, of Volcano died March 3 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kohala, he was a welder for Mutual Welding and Industrial Welding in Honolulu and Isemoto Contracting and Arakaki Mechanical in Hilo, and member of Iron Workers Local 625 and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
